With the buildout of highways in developing countries, research suggests there is a need for accessible information on this subject. Andrew Jackson is the owner of www.asphaltplanet.org; and, using classical economics he has published more than twelve articles on these subjects. In 2012, Mr. Jackson received the Plan Canada Article of the Year Award from the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP).
